Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief – Review

Products from the Moisture Surge are my favourites. Each item in the line is simply amazing, the products are suitable for all skin types and deliver amazing results

In this product, there is a variety of moisturising ingredients. The main two are glycerine and aloe vera. There’s also centella asiatica which is known to be anti-inflammatory, it provides antioxidants and calms the skin. It’s also hydrating, and some people find it helpful for blemishes. The formula includes ferments which are known to strengthen the skin and overall improve its health, as they deliver probiotics. We can also find caffeine and vitamin E – both are great antioxidants. The formula includes trehalose and sucrose, which help to maintain hydration in the skin. The product has no fragrance or dyes.

This spray is my ideal hydrating toner – full of great ingredients and easy to use as there’s no need for cotton pads. You can apply it right after cleansing or after acid toners; depends on your routine. For me, this mist resembles a moisturiser in a liquid form, if you know what I mean.
The ingredients list may seem short, but it includes everything to make your skin happy. After misting, the skin feels refreshed and soothed. The mist is pretty hydrating; there are enough ingredients to provide sufficient moisture to the skin. It can be used on its own during hot summer days, especially when you have oily skin. I like to keep my bottle in the fridge and mist my face with it throughout the day. This way, the spray feels even more refreshing, and the ingredients keep my skin hydrated all day long. I know many people do a similar thing with thermal water, but thermal water dries the skin out if it’s left for too long. This spray is a much better option because you deliver a bomb of skin-benefiting ingredients, and you don’t risk any moisture loss.
I agree with Clinique that this spray is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive ones, and it shouldn’t cause any troubles. Sometimes you may get a little bit of tingling after using the product, at least I do, but it isn’t irritating. I think the mist reacts with acid toners that I apply beforehand.

Overall, it’s a fantastic product. It can be used as a toner, on its own or as a mist to refresh throughout the day. It hydrates the skin, and the formula is packed with fabulous ingredients. It’s suitable for all skin types.
