Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel is one of the most known products amongst Asian beauty lovers. I think it’s the product that initiated the cult of peeling gels. If you haven’t heard about it yet, soon you will. The other one, Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream was a complete novelty for me, I’d had no idea there was more from Cure other than the gel until I opened my Yesstyle Beauty Box. Honestly, it was quite naive of me, to think that there is a brand that sells only one product…

Cure Natural Aqua Gel

Let’s start with the Cure Natural Aqua Gel. This is complete magic to me, you are supposed to apply it to damp face, massage, and the dead skin cells will be removed. It literally happens like that, while you’re massaging the skin, you can see a build-up of white, skin-looking substance. It isn’t your dead skin, as many people believe, it’s the product itself. The gel contains a polymer that makes the product pile up as you rub it against your face. For your skin to be peeling off your face like that, you would need to use professional strength acids or retinoids, not a gentle exfoliator such as this one. I have no idea what science is behind the exfoliating power of this product, but it works, and that’s all that matters to me.

This product contains mostly water and glycerine, over 95% together, plus some additional ingredients, as well as ginkgo biloba and rosemary leaf extracts. No fragrance, nine ingredients that shouldn’t pose harm to anyone. Simply saying, it’s very gentle and effective exfoliant. I like to use it everywhere on my face and body because I can see the results. They are visible after one use. The skin is super soft, and you don’t get any irritation like with regular physical exfoliants. I would recommend this product to everyone regardless of the skin type. It’s great for someone who looks for a gentle exfoliant without acids or abrasive and harsh ingredients.

Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream

I am going to rely on the description provided by Yesstyle and from what I could gather this is an all-in-one product, works under makeup and aimed at dry skin type. Let me tell you it’s a moisturiser of a gel texture and white colour –– it doesn’t feel like a regular cream at all. This cream is simply wonderful, it hydrates the skin within seconds. During the summer, I could use it on its own, and my skin was perfectly happy with it. The cream has a watery, liquidish feeling while applying the product (I have no idea how to describe it, but I hope you get what I mean). The thing that comes to my mind when I think of this moisturiser is water. It’s enough to swipe it once, and it’s gone. So no time for unnecessary warming up of the product, if you’re a fan of it. 

Just as above, the ingredients are simple, there are 10 of them; no fragrance, alcohol or oils. Enough to provide moisture to the skin, there’s glycerine, dimethicone and other humectants. It doesn’t feel silicone-y, maybe a bit at first, but then the feeling disappears. It’s perfect for all skin types in the summer season. I say summer, but I mean hot weather, because it wouldn’t serve as a moisturiser during cold weather, it’s just too light. In the winter, people with acne-prone and oily skin types may be fine with this one alone or with something on top like a facial oil, though it depends on your climate. However, no-one from snowy, cold regions will appreciate this cream on its own. In my opinion, it’s basically a summer/hot weather moisturiser. So if you need something for warm weather – it’s the way to go. This was my heatwave treasure, FYI.
