Hada Labo Gokujyun Oil Cleansing – Review

Cleansing oils are a must-have when you heavily use sunscreen or makeup, and this product is just right for the job.

Hada Labo Gokujyun (Moist) Oil Cleansing is one of the most popular J-beauty products. It has a simple formula, yet very powerful. The Cleansing Oil contains a lot of olive oil, similar to DHC’s Deep Cleansing Oil, but this one feels less like olive oil if you know what I mean. There’s Super Hyaluronic Acid. The formula also includes jojoba oil, which helps moisturise the skin and decrease sebum production.

The product does what it says on the bottle – it removes everything and moisturising the skin. I’ve been using this Oil for quite some time, and it never fails me. I use about three to four pumps for my face and neck to dissolve whatever I have on my face. After cleansing with this Oil, I follow with a light cleanser to make sure everything is removed. On days when I have just a layer or two of sunscreen, I wash my face with the Oil. This product deals with all types of sunscreens, even the most water-& sweat-resistant ones; I mean the waxy type sunscreens that many brands released this year.

This product is simply amazing. I highly recommend it to all skin types. The formula includes premium ingredients, great for all skin types. However, people with active acne and acne-prone skin should be wary, as oils don’t always work for oily skin types. If you are looking for a cleansing oil, this one is definitely worth a try.
