I’ve bought this product because of the positive reviews online. An ascorbic acid serum is a superb element of any skincare routine. However, I should’ve bought something else instead.
The serum consists of 20% ascorbic acid trapped in dimethicone and silicones. There’s some water in it, but only a little. There’re also plant extracts. The product is suitable for all skin types.
I don’t have very sensitive skin; years of using various treatments and potions seasoned my skin, so it can withstand a lot. However, this product is really irritating. The serum makes my face red and itchy, and it oxidises after a while, generating an orange layer on the skin. I couldn’t test it for long. After finishing about ten capsules, I binned the rest. It’s not worth it. There are better, more affordable ascorbic acid products on the market. I wouldn’t recommend it.
