Scinic Enjoy All Round Airy Sun Stick SPF 50+ – Review

I know I have been quiet for a while. The past year or so has been hectic for me. The previous December, I unexpectedly had to move, and then last summer, I caught COVID, which left me with a lasting feeling of lethargy. And once I stop doing something regularly, it’s hard for me to pick up where I left off. Also, I am a master procrastinator. So, to start slowly, I will review this sunscreen because I dislike it, and there’s not much I can say about it.

The Scinic Enjoy All Round Airy Sun Stick seems to be popular and liked by many people, judging by the numerous reviews n social media and elsewhere. However, it just doesn’t work for me.

The formula includes chemical and mineral filters, set in unctuous vehicle, consisting of waxes and various emollients, which ease the application process. The product also incorporates skin-benefiting ingredients like liquorice root extract and soy ferment juice. Unfortunately, there are also potentially irritating ones like essential oils and fragrance. The sunscreen is designed for all skin types. Though, I think it can only work for dry skin.

Last summer, I gave the Scinic stick a few chances, but each ended up in a disaster. This sunscreen looks good if applied scantly, around two to three swipes, but I like to apply sunscreen in abundance. My mantra is the more, the better, and that’s where the problem lies. After every application, my skin looked greasy, as if I had layered petrolatum jelly, and immediately my face was beaded with sweat, even before leaving the bathroom. I tried wearing it on my hands, but then it oiled everything that I touched, which is vexing, to say the least.

I don’t have much else to say. From me, it’s a no. I think there are better sunscreen sticks on the market. I hope you will enjoy the video demonstration. Perhaps the video doesn’t show best how the finish looks in reality
